Help and docs
Everything you need to build your site, connect the AI you already use, or work from your own scripts. Questions? Write to support@brightpage.ca.
Getting started
- Pick a template. Every site starts from one. Change any word, colour, picture or page; nothing is locked in.
- Edit with blocks. Click anything on your page to change it, or add a block from the list on the left. Changes save themselves; Undo and History bring back anything.
- Publish. Your site goes live at brightpage.ca/s/yourname. Publish again whenever you change something; visitors see the last version you published.
- Your own domain (optional): in the editor, Site › Web address. We show three records to add at your domain company, with copy buttons, and check them every few minutes.
- Your site’s dashboard has your form answers, blog, newsletter, visitor numbers, team and plan.
Use Brightpage from your AI app
Brightpage has no AI of its own. Instead, connect the AI app you already use (Claude, ChatGPT or any app that speaks MCP) and ask it to build or change your site in plain words.
https://brightpage.ca/mcp
Claude
- Settings › Connectors › Add custom connector.
- Name it Brightpage and paste the address above.
- Press Connect, sign in with your email, and tick the sites Claude may use.
ChatGPT
- Settings › Connectors › Advanced: turn on developer mode.
- Create a connector with the address above.
- Sign in and tick the sites it may use.
Other apps
Add a remote MCP server with the address above (Streamable HTTP). The app finds the sign-in by itself.
What it can do
- List your sites, or make a new one from a template.
- Add, change, move and remove pages and blocks; change the palette, fonts and buttons; copy another site’s look.
- Write, schedule and publish blog posts; draft newsletters.
- Read form answers, newsletter sign-ups, visitor numbers and your domain’s status.
You stay in charge. Publishing a site or post and sending a newsletter always take two steps: the app prepares it and gives you a link; nothing happens until you open it and press Confirm. Every change shows in page History, so you can undo it. See and disconnect apps any time in your account.
API
The API does what the AI connector does, at plain web addresses, with a personal key per site. Make a key in your account, then:
curl https://brightpage.ca/api/v1/sites -H "Authorization: Bearer bpk_…"
Command line
For people who work from a terminal or a build pipeline. It needs Node.js 18 or newer and nothing else.
curl -o brightpage https://brightpage.ca/cli/brightpage.mjs && chmod +x brightpage
./brightpage login # paste a key from your account
./brightpage sites # your sites
./brightpage publish cedarline # publish a site
./brightpage backup cedarline > cedarline.json
./brightpage restore cedarline cedarline.json
./brightpage copy cedarline cedarline-test "Cedarline (test)"
Run ./brightpage help for everything. In a pipeline, set BRIGHTPAGE_KEY instead of logging in.
